Alannah was admitted as a legal practitioner in 2014 and commenced her career as a Judge’s Associate in the District Court of South Australia. In 2015, Alannah began working at the Legal Services Commission where she quickly found her passion for assisting clients with family law matters. In the Family Law space, Alannah has advised, assisted and represented clients in relation to divorce and separation, complex children’s matters and property settlements. Alannah has extensive experience in both negotiating settlements out of court via negotiation, mediation and Family Dispute Resolution and representing clients in complex litigation in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

In 2023, Alannah gained qualifications as an Independent Children’s Lawyer. An Independent Children’s Lawyer is a specialised lawyer that is appointed by the Court to represent children in complex children’s matters. In 2024, Alannah completed a Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution Practice.

Alannah’s approach to family law matters is practical, empathetic and considered. Alannah aims to assist clients by listening, understanding and providing accurate and personalised legal advice in a timely manner in order to make the legal process as smooth as possible.
